Our 2006 Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc is a blend of vineyard lots from various appellations of Sonoma County. We focus on sites with well-drained soils and different rootstocks in order to craft a wine that is refined and elegant with a rich palette of fruit. Zesty flavors and aromas of tropical fruit such as kiwi, gooseberry, pineapples and mangos with a hint of grassiness are complemented by creamy citrus notes. Aging partially in stainless steel and older French Oak gives this wine a crisp freshness and a subtle oak character that adds great complexity and depth. |

The 2006 Alexander Valley Chardonnay is a delicious wine with floral and fruit aromas of pear, Fuji apple, citrus and honey graham cracker with a hint of rich caramel and toasted coconut marshmallow. Generous on the palate, creamy vanilla undertones balance layers of toast and spice on the finish, while the tropical flavors linger to the end. |

The 2007 Alexander Valley Chardonnay is a delicious wine with floral and fruit aromas of orange blossom, citrus, pear, figs, green apple, and a hint of toasted marshmallow and caramel. Generous on the palate, creamy vanilla undertones balance layers of toast and spice on the finish. |

Formerly called our “Alexander Valley Chardonnay”, our 2008 vintage Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay is now labeled with a Sonoma County appellation, as we’ve added superior lots of wine from our vineyards in Russian River Valley and Carneros, combined with Alexander Valley fruit. And for the first time ever, our Chardonnay is now embellished with a screw cap in order to retain the freshness and fruit character of this delicious wine. With upfront apple, pear, honey, butter cream, and honeysuckle floral notes, this wine is perfectly balanced with fruit and creamy caramel, marshmallow and a lingering, toasted oak finish. |

FERRARI-CARANO Tresor 2004 Sonoma County
Ferrari-Carano presents its finest blend of the five classic Bordeaux varietals– Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot – from the best selections of all our vineyards in Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys. Aptly named “Trésor” for “treasure,” the grapes are hand harvested from dry-farmed, low yielding vines primarily on our mountain vineyards. Expansive aromas of blackberry and licorice from the Cabernet Sauvignon pair with the exotic notes of blueberry, cherry and black currant from the Malbec and Petit Verdot to provide the signature of this Meritage blend. With a full bodied and richly textured tannin profile, this blend exudes a concentrated palate of intense red and black berries, chocolate and espresso. Upfront silkiness and roundness make for a charming wine now and will drink well for 7-10 years.
