Cakebread’s success began in the 1970’s with a hunch. Offering his $2,500 advance for a
photography assignment of a Napa Valley book as down payment, Jack and
Dolores became the new owners of a Rutherford farm which is today the
prestigious Cakebread Winery.

citrus and melon flavors that culminate in a refreshingly flinty,
mineral-tinged finish. An ideal apèritif wine, our vibrant 2007
