BERINGER CHARDONNAY 2009 NAPA VALLEY

“The 2009 Napa Valley Chardonnay is a quintessential expression of this beautiful varietal and the depth of flavors it can exhibit. Flavors of ripe citrus and apple are accented by aromas of toffee, tangerines and orange blossom. The mouth-coating, round texture highlights the rich flavors, all balanced by bright, refreshing notes that linger into the finish.”

BERINGER PINOT NOIR 2009 NAPA VALLEY

Aromas of baked red berries, cocoa and rose petal are complemented by flavors of cherry, plum and cinnamon. The wine’s silky tannins and good acidity are nicely balanced by a rich, juicy fruit core.

BERINGER CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2005 NAPA VALLEY

Is a delicious and classic Cab that blends the best of Beringer’s Vineyard fruit.  An inviting nose of blackberry and black cherry lead you into a rich and generous mouth feel while this wine’s other complex aromas and flavors develop and evolve.  Clean but rich in the finish, pair this wine with a classic fall lamb stew.  Enjoy now cellar or cellar for up to five years.

BERINGER MERLOT 2006 NAPA VALLEY

“The 2006 Napa Valley Merlot is an aromatic, inviting wine from the start. This wine is brimming with plum, blackberry and sweet vanilla aromas. The flavors are equally rich – I get black cherry, bittersweet chocolate and a hint of smoke. The tannins are dense, and the finish is supple despite the heft and complexity of the wine overall.”

–Winemaker, Laurie Hook

BERINGER CABERNET SAUVIGNON KNIGHTS VALLEY 2006

To maintain the unique characteristics of the different lots from varying areas of the vineyard, Laurie kept them all separate through vinification and aging. Extended maceration created larger tannins to enhance the lush mouthfeel of the blend and extracted a maximum of color, aromas and flavors. The wines were then aged in small French Nevers oak barrels (40% new) for thirteen months. After aging, Laurie blended the lots of Cabernet Sauvignon to highlight Knights Valley’s characteristically bright black cherry fruit. A bit of Merlot was added to round out the mid-palate, and a touch of Cabernet Franc lifts the aromatics of the wine and delivers an elegant finish. The 2006 Knights Valley has a vibrant fruit core, hints of brown spice and pink peppercorns, and a lingering finish of ripe black fruit.

BERINGER PRIVATE RESERVE CHARDONNAY 2008 NAPA VALLEY

“The 2008 Chardonnay Private Reserve continues the success Beringer has enjoyed with this program.  Notes of brioche, hazelnut, marmalade, honeyed tropical fruits, buttered citrus, and gentle touch of smoke are found in this full bodied, concentrated wine with impressive purity, depth, and length.  It should drink well for 4-5 years.”

BERINGER SBRAGIA CHARDONNAY 2007 NAPA VALLEY LIMITED RELEASE

"Very strongly flavored, very big and powerful in both oak and fruit. Beringer aims for the fences with this massive Chard, which erupts with tropical fruit, ripe pear, baked pastry crust, buttered toast, mineral and cinnamon spice flavors. Not for the faint-hearted, but it's sheer decadence“

BERINGER PRIVATE RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2007 NAPA VALLEY

“A Barrel sample of the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve suggests it is as impressive as the great efforts of 2001, 2002 and 2004.  Opulent and fleshy with an inky/blue/purple hue, it offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, crème de cassis, blackberries, chocolate, forest floor, and underbrush.  It is a dense voluptuously-textured offering that is both a hedonistic and intellectual turn-on that will drink well for 15 or more years.”

BERINGER PRIVATE RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2005, 375ml

With Cabernet of this quality, the winemaking team believes in taking a minimalist approach to winemaking. Vinifying the fruit from each vineyard separately, Ed and Laurie used tailored pump-over techniques for optimal extraction, and then aged the wines in hand-selected, custom-toasted barrels of new French Nevers oak. They then aged the lots separately for just under two years before selecting the blend  one of exceptional depth, complexity and elegance.  The final blend has aromas of Bing cherries, cocoa, cedar, allspice and mint. Generous cherry, blackberry and plum flavors are complemented by velvety tannins, resulting in a superbly long and elegant finish.
